Which characters do you offer? We have more than 100 characters, including princesses, superheroes, mermaids, fairies, wizards, pirates, mascots and seasonal favorites like Santa and the Easter Bunny. Browse our Characters page to see them all.

What happens during a character party? Your character arrives in full costume and stays in character the entire visit. A typical party includes a story, games with prizes, singing and dancing, face painting or glitter tattoos, photos with every guest, and the birthday song with the cake.

How long does a visit last? Visits range from 30 minutes to 3 hours. Most birthday parties book 1 hour which leaves plenty of time for every activity.

What ages are character parties best for? Character parties are a favorite for ages , but we also visit older kids, family gatherings, schools and community events.

What if my child is shy or nervous? Our performers are experienced with shy little ones. They let your child warm up at their own pace, often starting with a gentle wave, a whisper or a high five before inviting them to join in.

Do your characters sing? Yes. Our princesses and many of our other characters are trained singers.

Do I need to provide anything? Just a little open space for games and dancing. We bring everything else, including face paint, prizes and music.

Are your characters official licensed characters? No. Our characters are our own original, storybook-inspired performers. We aren't affiliated with any film studio or brand.

What's included in a sleepover? Each guest gets their own themed tent with a mattress, sheet, pillows, a cozy blanket, a rug, a tray and twinkle lights, plus themed décor for the room. We deliver and set everything up before the party, and come back the next day to take it all down.

What themes do you offer? Popular themes include unicorn, galaxy, rose gold glam, woodland and movie night, plus seasonal and custom themes.

How many guests can you accommodate? Our sleepovers start at 2 guests, and we can set up for up to 16 guests depending on your space.

How much space do I need?. A typical living room or basement fits 6 tents. Not sure? Send us a photo of the room and we'll help you plan the layout.

When do you set up and take down? We usually set up the afternoon of the party and return to take everything down the next morning, by 11am. We'll confirm exact times when you book.

Is the bedding clean? Yes. All bedding is washed and sanitized after every party, and our mattresses are hypoallergenic. We do not use inflatable mattresses because no one wants to pump up a mattress in the middle of the night.

What if something gets damaged? Your damage policy, for example: normal wear is fine, but damaged or stained items may be charged at replacement cost.

What happens at a pamper party? Guests enjoy a kids' spa experience with robes, headbands and themed décor. Everything is kid-safe and age-appropriate.

What ages are pamper parties for? Pamper parties are best for ages 5–12.

What is a Bride Tribe sleepover? It's our grown-up sleepover for bachelorette parties and girls' nights, with teepees, luxe bedding and themed décor set up wherever you're staying.

What does party planning include? We can handle as much or as little as you'd like, from décor and styling to entertainment, activities and setup. Tell us your vision and budget, and we'll put together a custom plan.

Do you do corporate and community events? Yes. We provide character appearances for festivals, schools, libraries, grand openings, holiday events and corporate family days.

Are your performers background-checked? Yes. Every performer passes a background check before working with us, and all are trained in how to interact with children.

Are you insured? Yes. A Storybook Party LLC is fully insured. We're happy to provide a certificate of insurance for venues, schools and corporate events.

What areas do you serve? We're based in Allentown and serve the whole Lehigh Valley, including Bethlehem, Easton, Emmaus and Macungie. Travel is free within 40 miles of Allentown. Beyond that, a travel fee applies.

Can you do outdoor parties? Yes, weather permitting. If it rains, we'll move the party indoors or reschedule.Please have a shaded or covered spot for the character on hot days.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy? As a family-owned business, we know plans with kids can change in an instant, so our policy is super flexible. If you need to cancel or reschedule, your deposit can be used to rebook your party any time, based on availability. Just let us know as soon as you can, and we'll find a new date that works for you.

Can parents take photos and videos? Absolutely! Snap away. With your permission, we may also share a few favorite photos on our social media.
